District 9 is a Soviet and Russian rock band, organized by Alexei Nikitin in 1991 in Krasnoyarsk. In the early 90s, their recordings were actively distributed by recording studios and betrayed by fans from hand to hand, but it never came to a big serious release. Permeated with the influences of the work of the Kino and Nautilus Pompilius groups and fairly seasoned with biker romance, the style of the team was still quite original. The hits "Don't Forget" and "Taking the Guitar Off Your Shoulders" became "folk", despite the fact that the group's work was practically ignored by major radio stations, and the group's concerts were held mainly in small halls. This is the first vinyl of the band, which includes the same 6-track EP from 1991, as well as material recorded in 1991-1992.
The publication is dedicated to the memory of the leader of the group Alexei Nikiti.
Black vinyl.
